to Questions - Creation vs.
Evolution
Don’t like body parts show
common ancestry - or Evolution?
NO. Do wheels on cars mean their
reproductive "ancestors" were chariots. Doesn’t it make sense, that one
designer with an entire plan necessitating a broad variety of species,
might use similar good design on different species? Think about it for a
minute. There are many, many species that we might regard as nonessential.
(And probably at different stages in earth development some become
nonessential and become extinct). But there are many "pests" we sometimes
don’t realize are essential. Bees pollinate plants. Worms help prepare
soil for growth. Insects provide food for birds that humans eat. The list
is extensive. If you consider that you may need several types of birds
(quail - good food, and vultures - to clean up dead things) you might
apply a good wing design to both. Man, earthworms and other creatures all
have counterparts with similar parts, but there is absolutely NO reason to
think they evolved from common ancestors. Darwin EXPECTED fossil finds to
PROVE transitional species (there were few fossils in Darwin’s day). Guess
what? Millions upon millions of fossils later, we still haven’t found ONE
transitional fossil.
