to Questions - Creation vs.
Evolution
Don’t proven mutational
changes help prove Evolution?
NO. Nobody denies mutation are real (we can
create them through radiation) but they don’t lead to Evolution. First,
there is little (IF ANY) evidence of POSITIVE mutations. Evolution claims
that an entire, miraculous parade - billions of simultaneous, positive
mutations - that developed far more advanced species. But mutations don’t
produce positive (advanced) changes. Secondly, it’s demonstrated that
mutations are never passed on to the very next generation, unless these
mutations occur in the sex cells (germ cells). And frequently that
mutation will die out in subsequent generations unless it occurs in a
significant percentage of the population. When we purposely create
mutations (thereby KNOWING it is, in fact, a mutation) they are never
passed on. Some might claim certain tendencies (cancer, diabetes, etc.)
are evidence of mutations passed on. The question then becomes: Are these
mutations? Or are there other traits in the genetic code that make certain
individuals more susceptible to certain things (most scientists would
agree). And keep in mind that such predisposition or genetic traits are
NOT positive - whether mutations or not.
